Budibooks Terms of Service

Budibooks creates personalized illustrated books for children, in digital and/or printed format, based on the information provided by the user, including photographs, child's data, and narrative preferences. Every book is custom-made and no two identical copies exist.

By using the service, you declare that you are: - the parent, - the legal guardian, - or an authorized adult (e.g., a family member or close friend) of the child the book is dedicated to, and that you have the right and permission to provide the requested data, including the photograph. If you purchase the book as a gift, you are responsible for having obtained such authorization.

The processing of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is an integral part of these Terms. In summary: - photographs and provided data are used exclusively to create the ordered book; - for the provision of the service, some data may be shared with technological providers and external partners (e.g., for image generation, payments, and printing); - the shipping address is used exclusively for the delivery of the product. Budibooks does not sell or use data for purposes other than those necessary for the provision of the service.

The quality of the final result depends significantly on the quality of the uploaded photograph. By uploading a photo, you accept that: - blurry, dark, incomplete, or low-quality images may generate suboptimal visual results; - Budibooks is not responsible for unsatisfactory results caused by inadequate input material. We reserve the right to: - request an alternative photograph before proceeding; - temporarily suspend processing until a suitable photo is received.

Before printing the physical book, Budibooks may provide a digital preview of the story and illustrations. The preview is intended to: - verify the correctness of the main data; - offer a general view of the product. Any modification requests must be communicated before printing starts. Once printing has started, the product is considered final.

As Budibooks books are personalized products, returns or refunds are not possible once printing has started, except as provided below. Digital Version Warranty In the rare event that the digital version has serious technical defects or obvious AI-generated artifacts that compromise its use, Budibooks agrees to: - correct the problem, or - offer a full refund of the digital copy, at its discretion. This warranty does not apply to subjective preferences or aesthetic expectations not explicitly communicated.

Budibooks is a constantly evolving service. We reserve the right to: - improve stories, illustrations, and processes; - introduce new versions, character traits, or formats; - modify the service without the obligation to update already delivered products.

Payments are managed through certified external providers. Budibooks does not directly store payment data. The order is considered confirmed only after receipt of payment.

Budibooks is not responsible for: - delays caused by printing or shipping providers; - subjective expectations of the creative result; - indirect or consequential damages resulting from the use of the service. In any case, Budibooks' overall liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the purchased product.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective from publication on the site.
